Whether you're brand new to the mat, haven't practiced in a while, or simply prefer a slower pace, this class is designed for you. 

In this class you will be guided through a series of (deliberate) postures (asanas), using your breath to support your practice. This class will prioritise breath, alignment, functional strength, mobility and balance helping you build a stable foundation. Through out the class, variations of each pose will be offered to suit different needs and abilities. Class will close with period of relaxation known as Shavasana.

Welcome to Your Yoga Journey! Gentle Flow for Beginners

 

In this class, you will: 

* Learn foundational yoga postures (asanas): We'll break down the traditional poses step-by-step, focusing on proper alignment and variations to suit your individual needs and flexibility or(range of motion)

 * Explore the connection between breath and movement: Discover how conscious breathing (pranayama) can deepen your practice, calm your mind, and increase energy.

 * Develop body awareness and balance: Through gentle movements and mindful attention, you'll cultivate a greater understanding of your body and improve your stability.

 * Increase flexibility and strength and range of motion: We'll gently stretch and strengthen major muscle groups, improving your range of motion and overall physical well-being.

 NB* Find relaxation and reduce stress: Each class will conclude with a guided relaxation (savasana) to help you unwind and leave feeling refreshed and centered.
