What is Yoga?
Yoga is a philosophy originating in India and is at least 5,000 years old. The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word “yuj” meaning, “union” or “to bind.” Yoga is all about uniting your body with your mind through a series of physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation.
Yoga invites the practitioner to become more self-aware, and in so doing, establish a deeper connection with self.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
No, all yoga equipment is provided including mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets and eye pillows, however if you want to bring your own you are more than welcome.
Are there classes suitable for beginners?
Yes, I offer classes suitable for practitioners of all levels, including beginners. I will guide you through the practice with care and support.
What if I have an injury or health condition?
It's always best to inform me about any injuries or health conditions before class, and they can help you modify poses accordingly.
Can I Drop-In, or Do I Need to Make a Reservation
Where can I park?
We have free, private parking outside the studio.
Do you have a toilet facilities at the studio?
Yes, we do have a toilet in the studio.

Ask questions! Let your teacher know if you need help
Take your shoes off before entering the practice room.
Avoid wearing strong fragrances, we'll be doing lots of deep breathing!
Keep the practice room quiet and peaceful. Socializing is strongly encouraged in the store and lounge.
Leave your cellular devices OFF. We can hear it vibrating when it is in silent mode.
Make space for other students.
Put your props away neatly at the end of class.
Plan to stay for the whole class; if you can't, let your teacher know before class begins and leave quietly before savasana.
If you plan to borrow any studio props, please bring a washcloth to clean them before and after use. The disinfectant spray is provided.
